When you have too much stuff in a room, you can’t see what you have.
Whether it’s too much furniture or a lot of junk, clutter is hard to
live with.
Our clients tell us they despise the clutter. They don’t deal with it because
it’s either too overwhelming or they can’t figure out where to
put it. We’ve heard many other creative excuses, too, but they mostly boil
down to “I'm getting to that. But for now, I’ll just keep the
door closed until I have time!”
Don’t be too embarrassed to call us for help. We’ve seen it all! We
love this kind of thing. And if you can’t stand your kids’s rooms, we’re
on our way to your place.
We’ll sort. We’ll purge. It will even be fun. Promise!

This was 15- year-old Eric’s room, a typical sore spot between parents
and teens. Before we began, I asked Eric and his parents what they liked
and disliked about the room. I also requested that both parties agree to
make compromises in order to reach an equitable solution for all concerned.
With everyone in agreement, we dug in.see
the results of our work....

With Eric giving the final thumbs up or down, we cleaned up, packed up,
threw out, put back and re-organized his space. A few minor adjustments made
it more user friendly, and “a place
for everything” made it easier for him to keep it neat. This made
Mom very happy, and more than a year later, for the most part, she’s
still happy. Miracles never cease. closenext

This is a home office. Really, it is. Look familiar? This part-time Mary
Kay sales rep hated going in there. The former guest room still housed a
sofa-bed, which robbed her of much needed storage space for her products.
Out it went, along with the much too-large office chair. We brought in a
beautiful glass étagère from the living room,
and placed it between two black shelves she already had. Moving
the computer desk away from the window kept the sun out of her eyes,
and she no longer had her back to the door. She doesn’t hate going
in there anymore.
